Event Sponsorship

Every year the Australasian Housing Institute provides a program of networking events for housing professionals with a focus on current topical issues. During the events housing professionals are able to meet with government representatives, industry leaders and acknowledged housing experts. Sponsorship of AHI events enables businesses to highlight their support of the housing sector, effectively network with the target audience and enable the AHI to deliver first-rate events.

AHI networking events include:

  • Professional Practice Seminars: A single session or short, often one-day meeting devoted to presentations on and active discussion of a specialised topic, usually at an advanced or professional level.
  • Professional Practice Networks: Networking events or online network groups designed to connect people for the purposes of sharing ideas and solutions in the context of a particular specialisation
  • Master Class Series: Premium multi-day events focussing on current issues for experienced industry leaders.

The target audience for AHI professional events are AHI members, government and community-based professionals involved in the direct provision of housing, and housing policy and planning, as well as academics, urban renewal specialists, rental housing providers and consumers. Additionally, AHI events usually attract professionals from other disciplines who have an interest in the housing system.

Please, see the list of upcoming AHI events for further details.

Feedback from our Sponsors

This was the first year that Blooming HR has been actively involved with the AHI, and it has been a fantastic and incredibly worthwhile venture.  Blooming HR is passionate about delivering simple and effective HR and organisational development solutions to the NFP and community services sectors, specifically specialising in community housing.  Therefore, working in partnership with the AHI enabled us to reach out and engage with a far wider client base and audience. The organisational goals of both the AHI and Blooming HR are closely aligned, we are both here to support those who support the community.

Housing Action Network has been delighted to support the AHI over the last five years. Bringing people together across the social housing sector, and over the Tasman, is never easy. However the dedicated team at the AHI achieve this, and more. The organisation’s use of social media, promotion of networking events and grass-roots branch structures are all best practice. We’re lucky to have the AHI, and the hard work of staff and volunteers is very much appreciated.
