The AHI holds a general meeting of the members each year, generally
around November.
At this meeting the members of the Board are appointed, annual
reports such as the Directors' Report, Audited Financial Statements
and the President's address are presented.
Four of the positions on the Board are voted upon by the general
membership,
- President
- Community Housing Representative
- Non-metropolitan Representative
- Volunteer Representative
and the successful nominees are appointed at the AGM. Other appointments
to the Board, such as the Branch Representatives are also ratified
at the AGM.

The 7th Annual General Meeting of the Institute was held in Parramatta on Wednesday 5 December.
