What are the Awards about?
The Australasian Housing Institute Awards provide an opportunity to showcase social housing success stories. The Awards formally recognise and reward excellence in professional practice, from the grass roots to the most senior levels. They promote to our colleagues and the community at large the difference that social housing professionals make to people's lives.
The AHI is excited to launch its call for nominations for the 2008 Professional Excellence in Social Housing Awards. This year, awards will be held in each jurisdiction, with nominations now being accepted for Victorian awards which will be presented at Housing Week in Victoria (date tba). Nominees from all jurisdictions will then be put forward for the Australasian Awards which will be presented at the Future of the Social Housing Workforce Symposium in February 2009.
Nominations are now open, with entries due by Friday 15th August 2008- Victoria
