Apply for PRS

The PRS is designed to be independent, robust and meaningful, so there are three phases in the process.

1. Complete the online application

All applications are submitted online and involve six steps. Most of the steps are straightforward. The application process will direct you through each step, and the steps may be completed overtime and submitted once you are happy with the details you have provided.

Step 2: Select the route to recognition you wish to use
Step 3: Confirm you meet the entry requirements
Step 4: Complete and upload supporting material
Step 5: Confirm acceptance of ongoing requirements
Step 6: Pay Professional Recognition Scheme fee

2. Assessment

The AHI’s Professional Recognition Manager will assess, and validate your application. Their recommendation to approve your application will be endorsed by the PRS governing body.

3. Sign Up

Once your application for professional recognition is accepted you are required to sign up to the AHI’s Code of Conduct and the Continuing Professional Development Program.
