Farewelling Steve Morgan… for now.

Family matters and a job opportunity “too good an experience to refuse” have taken veteran AHI trainer Steve Morgan to The Hague in the Netherlands.

Steve steps into a six-month position as a psychologist/ trauma expert to broadly assist at war crimes trials at the International Criminal Court. Many of you will know Steve as the masterful facilitator of courses such Working with Complex and Demanding Clients, Working with Clients who have a Drug and/or Alcohol Dependency and others.

Steve’s exciting yet challenging new job involves screening suitable witnesses for war crimes, genocide and conscripting child soldiers, offering expert evidence in court, and assessing suitable candidates for, and managing, the witness protection program. It will also see him visit various hot spots in Africa. We wish Steve all the best in this important work, his family a well-deserved break, and hope to see him back in our professional development program in future.
