As a social and affordable housing professional in Australasia you are one of approximately 11,000 dedicated people working in paid and voluntary positions in social, community, Indigenous and supported housing services and tenancy advice. The AHI exists to support people like you in achieving their goals to provide shelter, transform lives and communities.
Our mission is to promote excellence in the housing sector by supporting, recognising, connecting and inspiring housing professionals. We would like to invite you to join our community of like-minded people because only with support of people like you can we improve our profession.
At the AHI we understand that level of involvement and remuneration may vary significantly across the sector and that is why our membership fees are set according to your annual salary level. Please, choose the membership band that corresponds to your current salary:
- Band 1. If your salary is less than $20,000
- Band 2. If your salary is between $20,000 and $50,000
- Band 3. If your salary is between $50,000 and $100,000
- Band 4. If your salary is greater than $100,000
The AHI's membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March. When you join the AHI we pro-rata the amount of the relevant subscription rate (from above), from the date you join until the end of that membership year. In Australia your membership fee is tax deductible.
