COVID-19 AHI Update and Response

First, thank you for being a part of the Australasian Housing Institute community. We want you to know that, as a community member, your health and well-being is our top priority.

We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation daily, with the health and safety of our training and event participants, trainers, presenters and team being a high priority. In light of the evolving situation, we have put in place precautionary measures to keep our community safe.

During this time of significant uncertainty, AHI will be here for our members, we are committed to continuing to deliver options for members to access information and provide forums for discussions. We evaluate every event separately and will go ahead with some of our workshops, offer online training and chats where possible and, unfortunately, will have to cancel some of our events.

We will let relevant participants or attendees know via email of any changes to upcoming AHI workshops and events. AHI is offering flexibility with training or event cancellation or re-scheduling due to COVID-19 related absences.

Every day is changing, and it is a challenging time for our members and the AHI community, we will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and we will provide regular updates to members over the coming weeks. We will also be in touch regarding online learning opportunitites and virtual engagement opportunities.

For real time updates, please refer to comprehensive resources prepared by the World Health Organization and Australian Department of Health.

We’ll continue to provide updates as this develops and encourage all of you to take care of yourselves and stay safe.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through this evolving situation. Please feel free to contact the AHI office if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions.

Mark Henderson,

Chief Executive Officer
